HYDROPHILIC SOFTENER WITH ANTISTATIC PROPERTIES


WS is an hydrophilic softener, which is imparting antistatic properties when applied to synthetic fibres. SP imparts very pleasant handle to natural, synthetic and blended fibres.

SPECIFICATION:


Appearance White, slightly viscose liquid
Chemical nature Aqueous preparation of fatty amide condensate
Ionicity nononic / cationic
pH 4.5 – 5.5
Solubility Dispersible in water at any ratio.
Compatibility 1. Can be used with hard water.
2. Good compatibility with mild acid, alkalis and electrolytes.
Storage 1. Freezes below 0°C. Fully usable after thawing.
2. Do not store in direct sun and in very hot places.
3. When properly stored shelf life is at least 12 monthes.
PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Hydrophilic softener, which has no adverse effect on the hydrophility properties of the treated fabrics.

2. Improves sewability of treated fabrics.

3. Very soft and pleasant handle to the treated fabrics. Suitable for synthetic and for natural fibres as well. Highly recommended for towels.

4. WS imparts excellent softness, sewability and antistatic effect when applied to microfibres.

5. WS imparts antistatic properties when applied to synthetic fabrics or blends with natural fibres.

6. Non yellowing softener.

7. Can be applied by exhaust and padding processes.

APPLICATION:

WS can be applied by exhaust and by padding processes. The softener should be pre-diluted with water 1:1-1:2 before use.

Dosage depends on fibre type and the handle desired.

Application by padding:

Pad with 15-30 gr/l followed by drying.

Application by exhaustion:

Add 2-3% on weight of fabric to the treatment bath.

Apply for 20-25 minutes at 40°C.

Drop bath, hydro-extract and dry.

WS can be co-applied with silicone emulsion.
