WP is a biodegradable nonionic, low foaming surfactant, developed for use in jet machines and rotary washing/dyeing machines with high-speed turbulence as well as for high speed padding operations.

WP possesses excellent wetting, emulsifying and washing effect. It can be used in a wide pH range in textile pretreatment, dyeing and finishing.

WP is composed of biodegradable ingredients with no potential for bio-accumulation, and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation.

WP is environmentally acceptable, and can be regarded as a "GREEN" product.

1. WP is applied for treatments of all kinds of textiles such as cotton, rayon and synthetic fibres. 2. Detergent for high-speed machines or those with tendency to foam, e. g. jet-machines, overflow machine, rotary washing machines and high-speed continuous machines.

3. WP is particularly recommended as wetting agent for enzymatic de-sizing. The efficiency of the enzymes is not impaired in any way. Penetration of the textile material with the de-sizing liquor is accelerated and loosening of the decomposed starch is facilitated.

4. During kier-boiling, WP loosens waxes contained in the grey cotton, emulsifies them and disperses the pigment soil and decomposition products of the husks. Staining during kier-boiling is thus avoided.

5. WP can be applied in neutral, alkaline or slightly acidic liquors.

Typical formulation:

a.Scouring of cotton and blends.

WP 1.0 - 2 g/l

Caustic Soda (50%) 1.0 - 2 g/l

Treat at 80-90ºC for 15-30 min.

b.Desizing in rotary washers.

WP 1.0 - 2 g/l

DL 1.0 - 3 g/l

Treat at 60-65ºC for 10-20 minutes.

c. Scouring of polyester and other synthetics.

It is of advantage to wash man-made fibres and textiles with WP together with the addition of a complexing/dispersing additive.
