MASTONE ES is a micro-emulsion of amino-modified silicone elastomer, used for softening textiles. ES is used for receiving special finishing effects on all kinds of textiles. When there is a need for durable elasticity, softness, lubricity, sew-ability, smoothness and shine finish. MASTONE ES is the best choice.

MASTONE ES can be applied by padding or by exhaustion. The main advantage of the micro-emulsion is its emulsion stability, even under high shear forces, such as in high speed padding machines.

Appearance	Almost transparent colourless liquid.

Solubility	Miscible with water at any ratio.
Compatibility	Good with cationics and nonionics Compatibility with anionic products should be tested in lab before use. Stable at neutral and acidic conditions
Storage	Sensitive to frost. Can be re-used after thawing and re-mixing. Shelf life is at least 12 months.

Imparts smooth, soft handle。Finishing with MASTONE ES is permanent and stable to repeated washing. No need of any thermal fixation apart of drying.

1. MASTONE ES improves resistance to pilling and abrasion of textile fabrics.

2. MASTONE ES improves hand of fabrics finished with "wash and wear" resins. Can be applied with resins in the same bath.

3. MASTONE ES improves sew-ability of treated fabrics.

4. Improves elastic recovery of knitted goods.

5. Can be used as is or in combination with other softeners.

6. Excellent suitability for high speed padding application. The rollers of the padding machine can be cleaned very easily without any rubbery residues on the metal surface.

7. The stability of the product in high speed jets depends on machine type.

MASTONE ES can be used as a pure finish or as a modifier to other softeners and finishing agents. For application by exhaustion use the following procedure:

a. Add MASTONE ES pre-diluted (1:4).

b. Treat for 5-10 minutes at 40ºC.

ES does not need any catalyst for curing.

For application by padding use the following procedure:

Add water

Add MASTONE ES.

Add other finishing agents (check for compatibility)

Pad and dry.

ES does not need any catalyst or special curing.

Usage recommendation:

a. In exhaust processes use 1.5-3%.

b. In pad processes use 20-40 g/l as is or with other finishing components.
