DL is an mixture of alpha amylase enzyme WITH multiple additives which has high desizing ability in a wide temperature range, which can break down starch and starch derivative sizing agents within a short reaction time.

Appearance	Brown liquid with characteristic odor.
Chemical nature	Bacterial alpha amylase, heat stable.
Solubility	Miscible with water in any ratio.
Compatibility	Can used the pH range 5-9 Can be used with hard water. Copper, zinc and their salts as well as chlorine and other oxidizing agents impair the effectiveness DL.
Storage stability	Store the product in closed containers in cool place. Once the containers have been opened, the contents should be used immediately. Storage for prolonged periods at temperatures over 300C causes loss of activity. When stored in suitable conditions, shelf life is at least 6 months.

1. DL is a de-sizing agent which to a large extent retains its activity even at relatively high temperatures. The maximum breakdown is achieved in the temperature range of 50℃ to 100℃.
2. DL is not causing any damages to the fibers.
3. Fabric or garments shows superior soft handle and rewetted ability after DL treated
4. Most impurities of cotton fabric (such as wax) could be removed and give a good whiteness obtained after DL treated
5. DL is used for:

    a. Hot pad roll de-sizing processes:
    b. Exhaustion processes in all equipment: Jigger, winch, jet, garment dyeing machines etc.

Add one part DL into mixer

Add 4 parts cold water to mixer

Agitate 20-30 minutes

The following application dosage depending on diluted DL

1. Jigger:

Diluted DL   2 – 4      g/l

Run 4 ends at 85º - 90ºc.

Remove size by alkaline washing at 95ºC for 2 ends.

Neutralize and rinse well.

2. Winch or Jet:   

Diluted  DL   1 – 2   g/l

Run at 85º - 90ºc for 15-30 min.

Remove size by water wash at 95ºC for 10-15 min

3. Pad-roll batching up method

Impregnation liquor:   

Diluted DL    2 - 6  g/l    

Liquor temperature 70℃ - 90℃

Pick-up 80-90%

Batch up and store under rotation.

If the temperature of about 90℃ is maintained inside a pad-roll unit, a-dwell time of 1-2 hours is adequate. If the goods are batched without the effect of heat, longer dwell times (2-6 hours) are necessary.

Remove size by washing at 90-95℃

4. Denim garments desizing

Diluted DL  3-4g/l

60-70 ℃ runs for 15-20 minutes

Rinse in hot and cold water
